Annual General Meeting

Thank you to all who attended our Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 28 November. The Annual Report for 2011-2012 is now available.

 

The Gay and Lesbian Rights Lobby will be holding its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 28 November at the Roxbury Hotel, 182 St Johns Road, Glebe NSW 2037. The meeting will commence at 6.30pm. 

All positions on the GLRL Management Committee are vacated at the commencement of the AGM, so we are now accepting expressions of interest for the 2012-13 Committee. The election will be held by secret ballot at the AGM. Nominations are being accepted for the following positions:

  • Female Co-convenor 
  • Male Co-convenor
  • Treasurer
  • Secretary
  • Female members (five including the Female Co-convenor)
  • Male members (five including the Male Co-convenor)
  • General members (five not limited by gender. These positions include Treasurer and Secretary)

Management Committee places are only available to full members with current membership.   • Name;
  • Position(s) you are seeking to apply for (you can apply for more than one position on the Committee, but you can only be elected to one position); and
  • Brief biography (100-150 words) describing your expertise and why you would like to be on the GLRL Management Committee

Your nomination must be supported by two current members of the GLRL. All nominations for the Management Committee must be received by 5:00pm on Tuesday 27 November.

Unless you have renewed or taken up membership with the GLRL since 1 July 2012, all memberships will lapse at the start of the AGM. You will be required to renew or apply for membership to have voting rights. To renew your membership, complete the online membership form, or forms will be available at the AGM.

The GLRL will be seeking to make minor Constitutional changes at the AGM. Copies of the following documents outlining the proposed changes are below:
