Take Action NOW After an intense parliamentary inquiry into Adoption by Same-Sex Couples, a majority of the NSW Law and Justice Committee has recommended that discrimination against same-sex couples and their children be removed from the Adoption Act 2000 (NSW). The Committee also recommended an exemption for faith-based adoption agencies, allowing them to continue to discriminate against same-sex couples.
