Since 1988, the core purpose of the GLRL has been to achieve legal equality for lesbians, gay men and their families at a state and federal level. We’ve accomplished a lot but there’s still much to do.
Ending Discrimination

Law Reform
We lobby politicians on a range of issues including parenting rights, domestic and family violence, and LGBTI refugees.
