Lobby and JoJo join forces to host
‘Rhythms of the Night’
The Gay and Lesbian Rights Lobby (GLRL) together with JoJo of Frisky fame
announce the Rhythms of the Night party to be held during the 2002 Pride
Week celebration. The party to be held on Saturday 29th of June from 11pm
to late, at the gloriously renovated Midnight Shift in Oxford Street,
is a fundraiser for the Gay and Lesbian Rights Lobby.
Gay and Lesbian Rights Lobby Convenor Anthony Schembri said, ‘thanks
to JoJo the party will not only be lots of fun but raise much needed funds
for our State Election campaign. It’s also an opportunity to enjoy
the groovilicious uplifting beats provided by Neil Crawford, JoJo and
Alex Taylor, and of course, dance all night!”
Tickets are $20.00 plus booking-fee and will be available from the One
Stop Dee Jay, 23A/55-73 Oxford Street, Darlinghurst.
Gay and Lesbian Rights Lobby Convenor Alex Sosnov said, “We
are so pleased to be announcing this party to be held during Pride Week.
The Lobby relies on fundraising events like Rhythms of the Night for its
survival.”
